Head MicroGel Prestige Pro

The Head MicroGel Prestige Pro is a premier tennis racquet recommended for professional players at the 4.0+ level looking for a lively response. It is similar to a Prestige Midplus, but utilizes a wider string pattern (16/19) and a heavier frame; this allows for a much more solid/stable response.

Note that despite the greater mass, the Pro actually has a relatively light head-light-balance (7), giving players maneuverability to set themselves up for a shot in time.  The Head MicroGel Prestige Pro also includes MicroGel technology, which includes silicone-based materials combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet hand. This causes the strings to deform and compress when impacted, allowing the impact load to be uniformly distributed—thereby creating a ‘rock-solid’ feel.
