Head MicroGel Prestige Mid

$180.00 Released September, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Creates a lot of spin with little effort. Generates power on impact, nice spring-like action. Accurate on most shots, can send the ball where you want it.

The Cons:A little too sensitive for beginners.

The Head MicroGel Prestige Mid is a premier tennis racquet recommended for professional players at the 5.0+ level. It was inspired by the Prestige Classic 600 — in regards to weight, balance, and overall specifications — but has been redone with more feel for a solid control, mass for power and penetration, and head-light balance for greater racquet head speed.

Product Shot 2 It’s essentially built for big hitters who seek an emphasis on control. Its also outfitted with MicroGel technology, which includes silicone-based materials combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet hand. This causes the strings to deform and compress when impacted, allowing the impact load to be uniformly distributed—thereby creating a ‘rock-solid’ feel.
