Babolat AeroStrike
$185.00
Released September, 2009
The Pros:Creates a lot of spin when you want it. Generates power, good for players just working on their stroke. Ball goes right where you want it when struck right.
The Cons:Sweet-spot is fairly small, need to focus on hitting the ball just right. Doesn't allow for a very good touch on the ball at the net.
The Babolat AeroStrike is a premier tennis racquet built for intermediate and advanced players at the 3.0 to 4.5 level. It is essentially a lighter and more powerful version of the Aeropro Drive. It includes an Aero beam-design in the throat that allows for enhanced control and feel.

And its 100sq.in. head offers a livelier stringbed, allowing for more maneuverability on the court. Like its peer, it also utilizes Babolat’s patented woofer, which increases frame/string interaction during ball strike, therefore adding 25% more contact time between the ball and strings AND allowing for a greater generation of power, control, and spin. Note also Babolat’s Cortex System, which filters harmful vibrations created during ball impact—therefore resulting in a more dampened and comfortable feel when hitting the ball.
